Anxiety x OCD

Many people do not know that mostly the root of OCD comes from having an anxiety. It does for me. At the beginning of my consultation with my psychiatrist, she dug into me the root of my OCD. We talked and shared about me. She told me to look deeper into my past experiences and events also myself. I flashed back and really really observed as in a 3rd person to make it easier. After 2-3 times consultations, I found that anxiety connected with my relationship with my father is the root cause of my OCD.

Now how I dealt with my anxiety led to OCD is the most important. First and foremost, I had to believe in myself and never gave as I love myself. This is the foundation of self-healing. Secondly and so on are find the root the cause with help of mental health professionals, jot down your activities daily so your mind will not overload, meditate regularly, be mindful & do not rush things, do not push yourself too hard, lower your expectation so you do not stress out, take one step at a time, try to be grateful for everything you have even though it does not benefit you, seek help from your family / your loved ones, admit yourself that you have problem, own it and deal with it also enrich your spirituality.
